Dele, who was reduced to laughter throughout the funny interview, replies: “Well I’m 22 now and I’ll be 23 in April so hopefully when I’m 23.”

Charlotte, who was also taught Dele’s famous celebration, has become a star on BT Sport for her no-nonsense questions.

The England hero was also asked about who was the best player he’s ever played against.

“I’d say Ronaldo because I haven’t played against [Lionel] Messi yet,” he replied.

Spurs face Barcelona in the Champions League group stages – as well as Inter Milan and PSV Eindhoven.

Mauricio Pochettino’s side have been roundly praised for bringing through young talent and playing exciting football on a budget since he took over in 2014.

They have finished third, second and third again in the last three Premier League seasons but have not won any silverware in his four seasons in charge.

Tottenham lost in the League Cup final in 2015 and reached the semi-final of the FA Cup the last two seasons, as well as the last-16 of the Champions League last year, but have failed to take the next step.
