According to Fotospor, Galatasaray chairman Abdurrahim Albayrak has been in talks with two senior figures at Liverpool, Michael Gordon and Philip Nash.

But while talks were primarily believed to be about Origi, the Gala chief mentioned Solanke as another player he was interested in taking on loan.

SunSport understands Rangers are in pole position to sign Solanke, however.

The 21-year-old has not played a single minute for the Reds this season and managed just five starts in the whole of 2017-18.

The Chelsea academy graduate, who moved to Anfield after a tribunal, has scored just one goal for the club – in the final Premier League game of last season against Brighton.

Liverpool fans had called on manager Jurgen Klopp to keep Solanke in the squad after his heroics for England Under-21s during the international break.

Solanke scored both goals as the Young Lions beat Italy U21s last Friday and scored another two – including a brilliant back-heel chip – as Aidy Boothroyd’s side smashed Denmark 5-1.

Klopp said that he is sure Solanke will be a success at Anfiled.

The German believes his “quality” and his “attitude” will make sure he does big things in Red.

Klopp said: “He is not coming from the best football situation in his life but he plays these games for England which is good.

“I was really happy when I saw it.

“There is a long career to come. At the end of his career, Dom Solanke will not really know about these two or three years.

Jurgen Klopp believes Solanke still has a big future at Liverpool despite his lack of gamesReuters

“He’s only in the situation he is in because he is so good.

“That is why people already think about why he doesn’t play. He started early with games at Chelsea.

“With himself and with his family, everything will be fine and he can make the career he has in his mind.

“I hope that will be here. Can I be sure we will see that? I really hope.”

Barcelona ace Denis Suarez ‘gives green light’ to Arsenal transfer with Chelsea also interested

BARCELONA’S Denis Suarez has given the “green light” to Arsenal with a potential move to the Emirates in January, according to reports.

Suarez, who has made just one appearance so far this term, spent two years at Manchester City before switching to Spain, and he’s now worried about his lack of playing time.

His preference is a move to the Premier League, and Arsenal are reportedly his “favourite option, according to AS (h/t Sport Witness).

But, it is unclear if the Gunners have any interest in signing the Barcelona midfielder whose also attracted interest from Chelsea.

Blues boss Maurizio Sarri tried to sign Suarez on two separate occasions when he was Napoli boss and Marca claim the Italian will move for the Spanish international again if he becomes available.

The report claims he faces stiff competition from his former club who have retained an interest in the midfielder from Sarri’s time at the club.

Valencia are the other club touted as a potential destination for Suarez who is unlikely to be short of suitors should he push to leave the Camp Nou.

Any interest from Emery in the playmaker likely stems from Aaron Ramsey’s departure after Arsenal withdrew a bumper new four-year contract for the Wales midfielder in September.

Ramsey is set to run his Gunners contract down instead of being part of a January deal for Roma striker Patrik Schick.

The Sun exclusively revealed the outgoing Welsh star will pick up £10.4million a year by moving to Juventus.

SunSport revealed the Italians have put together a mega-money package to land the Arsenal star on a free transfer.

Juventus have lined up a deal worth the equivalent of £200,000 a week.

The total value of the Bosman free transfer will top £40m before tax, as they are prepared to offer Ramsey a four-year deal.

He can agree a contract with them in January when he gets within six months of his Arsenal deal ending.
