SAM ALLARDYCE will make his first major Everton signing by tying Jonjoe Kenny to a new contract.
The 20-year-old right-back is set to finalise talks on a fresh deal, with his current terms running out at the end of next season.

Big Sam will make the youngster a key player after his breakthrough into the first-team this season.
England Under-21 star Kenny started ten matches before last week’s Europa League trip to Apollon Limassol to rest for today’s Merseyside derby.
Kenny, who has been at Goodison since he was nine, has also been impressed with Allardyce’s since taking the reins from David Unsworth, who he worked with in the Academy.
Kenny said: “He has come in with his own ideas and everyone has taken to them.”

“The backroom staff he has brought in have been brilliant and we’ve kicked on.”
Dominic Calvert-Lewin will also be rewarded with a new deal just seven months after he signed a new one.
Calvert-Lewin has been thrust into more first-team action than expected after Everton failed to bring in a new striker in the summer, leading the line in 15 Premier League games and the club want to him reward him for his progress.
